Signs Partnership With Axcel Sports
2010 & 2011 All American
Speedway Late Model champion Matt Scott will be outfitted by a new
driver’s suit courtesy of new sponsor Axcel Sports and CEO Brian Burley.
Scott and his Matt Scott Racing team are actively working on sponsorship
to compete in the 2012 NASCAR K&N Pro Series, West.
The 19-time NASCAR Late Model feature winner had seven quick-times and
six wins this season during a 17 race season. He capped off the year in
the #35 Kamps Propane Chevrolet with a 10th place finish in his NASCAR
K&N Pro Series, West debut at All American Speedway in October.
“I am very honored to be sponsored by Axcel Sports for the 2012 season,”
Scott said. “We are still in need of some significant sponsorship help
to run the West Series but every sponsor helps and this is a great start
for the other deals we are working on!”
Axcel Sports manufactures motorsport and extreme sports apparel and
accessories. Some of the products they produce include racing suits,
gloves, and shoes for auto racing and motorcycle racing. Axcel Sports
products are raced around the world including the prestigious Dakar
Rally.
Matt Scott Racing intends to compete in a limited schedule of NASCAR K&N
Pro Series, West races in 2012, with goals of competing in the events at
All American Speedway and Stockton 99 Speedway among others. MSR will
also compete in a limited campaign of NASCAR Late Model action as well.
Just 20 years old, driver Matt Scott has 19 wins, 14 fast-times, 47
top-fives, and 66 top-tens in 73 Late Model starts.
